Flambée ’64

The Germans, under the purity law called Reinheitsgebot, could only brew with certain ingredients. To get around the disallowed flavors, some breweries began to smoke malt. The Rauchbier were born from these techniques. An exceptional smoky lager, Flambée ’64 goes particularly well with grilled sausage, aged cheddar cheese and gingerbread cookies.
